Kent State University at Ashtabula is a satellite campus of Kent State University.The campus is located in Ashtabula, Ohio, United States, and was established in 1958.It is the northernmost of Kent State's seven satellite campuses in Northeast Ohio, known as regional campuses, approximately 60 miles (97 km) northeast of the main campus in Kent.
Kent State East Liverpool was established in 1965 as an academic outreach of Kent State located in the International Brotherhood of Operative Potters building. It moved to its present location in 1968, purchasing the former East Liverpool High School downtown campus from the East Liverpool City School District.
As of 2022, Kent State was the third-largest university in Ohio with an enrollment of over 34,000 students in the eight-campus system and over 25,000 students at the main campus in Kent. Over 200 high school students take advantage of pre-college programs (Dual Enrollment and Post-Secondary Enrollment) each semester. Over 500 students graduate from Kent State University at Stark annually. A Fall Commencement was added in December 2008 to accommodate student growth.
