There are two settings here that can cause Copilot to not appear in your Microsoft 365 apps. First confirm that Experiences that analyze your content is turned on. Then scroll down and make sure that All connected experiences is turned on. In any Microsoft 365 app, select the app name (such as Word or PowerPoint) menu at the top of your screen.
Copilot can generate summaries when you share an unencrypted document with collaborators. Encrypted documents aren't supported at this time. In an existing Word document, select Share, then in the list, select Share. Select the Copilot icon inside the Add a message box. Copilot generates a summary of the document for easier sharing.
