John Patrick McInally (born May 7, 1953) is an American former professional football player who was a punter and wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). McInally was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2016. [ 1 ]
Menefee was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. [3] [4]Menefee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. [2] At Coe, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and inducted into the Sigma Nu Hall of Fame in 2016.
McCaffery's wife, Margaret, was a standout women's basketball player from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She had an outstanding college career playing at the University of Notre Dame from 1988-1992. In 2014 McCaffery's son, Patrick, was taken to the University of Iowa hospitals to have a thyroid tumor removed.
She has written a number of children's books, some which have been translated into French, German and Dutch. McAfee has also edited an anthology of literary profiles from The Guardian. McAfee married the British novelist Ian McEwan in 1997 after having first met him at an interview she conducted for a profile in the Financial Times. [1]
