Wonder Girls (Korean: 원더걸스) was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment.The group debuted in February 2007 with the single "Irony" and 5 members: Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna, and Sohee.
Original member Hyuna left the group two months before the album was released and was replaced by Yubin. Because of this, Hyuna's vocals are still featured on certain songs on the album. The Wonder Years also includes songs first featured on their debut record The Wonder Begins, which was released earlier that year.
An accompanying music video for "Irony" features members Sohee, Yeeun, Sunmi and Hyuna getting revenge on Sunye's unfaithful boyfriend by using a voodoo doll to embarrass him. The Wonder Begins is the group's only release that was promoted with member Hyuna, who left the group in July 2007.
