It Is Written is an internationally broadcast Seventh-day Adventist Christian television program founded in 1956 by George Vandeman. [1] Its title comes from the Gospel of Matthew: "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
