The Alchemist is one of the music producers behind the video game Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars released by Rockstar Games in 2009. On July 7, 2009, the Alchemist released his second studio album, Chemical Warfare. It contains two tracks by Gangrene, the group consisting of the Alchemist himself and Oh No.
On September 28, 2021, the Alchemist announced the sequel EP, This Thing of Ours 2, to be released on October 8. The back cover of the Alchemist's promotional single "Keys to the City", released in 2007, mentioned a new album, expected to be in-stores in early 2008. On his 2008 mixtape The Cutting Room Floor 2 , the Alchemist revealed that the album titled Chemical Warfare is scheduled to be released in Summer 2008.

No Days Off is a fourth mixtape album by American rapper and record producer the Alchemist. It was released on September 26, 2006 via ALC Records. The majority of production was handled by the Alchemist, except for two tracks, produced by Evidence and DJ Sebb.
