It could be argued that Garmin's BaseCamp software is not yet "noteworthy" enough to merit an article, but, as the software is replacing MapSource ( track/route planning, photo geo-tagging, etc ), the day will come sooner than later when this needs its own article. And it might as well be as easy as possible to make that happen.
