ATV (stylized as atv) is a Turkish free-to-air television network owned by Turkuvaz Media Group. [1] As of August 2013, ATV was Turkey's most popular channel with a market share of 22%. [2]

NTV was founded in 1996 as a subsidiary of Cavit Çağlar's Nergis Group (hence the original full name of Nergis TV) and as the first news channel of Turkey.
