Al Kameen (الكمين Arabic, meaning "The Ambush") is a 2021 Emirati action-war film directed by Pierre Morel and written by Brandon Birtell and Kurtis Birtell. [1] [2] The film is based on the true story of a 2018 ambush of Emirati soldiers by insurgents.
The films official trailer was released at Middle East Film and Comic Con Dubai, [7] and IGN Middle East Abu Dhabi. [8] The film was released in cinemas of United Arab Emirates on June 16, 2016. [9] [10] [11] The film was internationally released in May 2020 on Netflix. [12] [13]
