SNCF Voyageurs (French pronunciation: [ɛsɛnseɛf vwajaʒœʁ], "SNCF Travelers") is a state-owned enterprise founded on 1 January 2020, [1] an independent subsidiary of the French National Railway Company (SNCF), in charge of operating passenger trains. [2] Its predecessor is (partially) SNCF Mobilités EPIC which was founded on 1 January 2015.
It is composed of two different services: Ouigo Grande Vitesse, which is a brand of SNCF operating high-speed trains; and Ouigo Vitesse Classique, a brand under which Oslo, a subsidiary of SNCF, operates conventional speed trains. Ouigo was established in 2013 to offer budget long-distance services on the core routes of the French railway network.
The SNCF adapted the classification system introduced by the Chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée in 1925. This consisted of a numeric prefix derived from the axle (not wheel) arrangement of the locomotive, a letter for the class, and finally a number for the locomotive with the class.

The SNCF Class Z 26500 and Z 24500 are a series of electric multiple unit (EMU) trains with bi-level carriages, derived from the Coradia Duplex type of Alstom. They are also known as TER 2N NG from their use on regional TER services, bi-level design (2N), and, by replacing the SNCF Class Z 23500 , status as a "new generation" (NG) model.
The SNCF class BB 15000 is a class of 25 kV 50 Hz electric locomotives built by Alstom and MTE between 1971 and 1978. Initially 65 locomotives strong, the class was widely deployed on the whole French 25 kV network before being replaced by TGV trains when the LGV Est went into service in 2007.
