Jekyll & Hyde is a successful 1990 musical based on the 1886 novella The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson.Originally conceived for the stage by Frank Wildhorn and Steve Cuden, it features music by Frank Wildhorn, a book by Leslie Bricusse and lyrics by all of them.
The song was first performed in the musical by cast member Chuck Wagner as Jekyll & Hyde at the Alley Theatre in Houston in May 1990. Prior to the stage production, a studio version was already released in March 1990 on a concept album titled Highlights from Jekyll & Hyde, performed by Colm Wilkinson. [1]

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is a song by the English rock band the Who. It was written by the band's bassist, John Entwistle. The song is about drummer Keith Moon's drinking problems.
