Fishing Report. 9/23/24. The Northeast Wind has pushed a lot of bait in. Big Bass have moved in and are feeding on the current changes the past few days. Wacky Mack and Green Mack Canal Shads have been the best.

Fishing in the canal fell off once the northeaster hit, but it was off not shut down as chunks and baits along with shads were still catching fish. As of this weekend there were numerous bluefish in the canal and very few people were complaining about it. Tautog fishing is improving and should be in full swing by the first week of October.
