Crain and Sons Funeral Home was founded by Brisco H. Crain in 1985. The first location was Kentwood, LA. Not long after, Mr. Crain established one of his dreams which was to open a funeral home in his hometown of Franklinton, LA.

Mr. Royan Burris, a cherished and devoted father, civil rights activist, and pillar of his community, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at the age of 99 in Baton Rouge, LA. Born on June 18, 1925, to the marital union of Isaac “Ike” Burris and Vanda Crain in Franklinton, LA. He was the eighth of nine children.
