Obama Anak Menteng (also known as Little Obama) is a 2010 biopic drama film written and directed by Indonesian author Damien Dematra in collaboration with John de Rantau.The film is based on Dematra's novel by the same name.
The film was edited by three persons: Soemardjono, Janis Badar, and SK Syamsuri. Its cast included Bambang Hermanto, Nurbani Yusuf in the starring roles, as well as Bambang Irawan, Rachmat Hidayat, and Rd Ismail. [1] Ismail adapted Anak Perawan di Sarang Penjamun from the novel of the same name by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana.
Malin Kundang (Anak Durhaka) (literally Malin Kundang, the Unfaithful Child]) is a 1971 film directed by D. Djajakusuma and adapted by Asrul Sani from the folktale of the same name. It follows a young boy who forgets his roots after spending much of his childhood at sea. Starring Rano Karno, Putu Wijaya, and Fifi Young.
