The Midland Football League, officially known as the Capelli Sport Midland Football League [1] since January 2025 for sponsorship reasons, is an English football league that was founded in 2014 by the merger of the former Midland Alliance and Midland Combination. [2] The league has four divisions that sit at levels 9–12 of the football pyramid.
A new league, the Northern Counties League, was formed in 1960 and all the former North Eastern League clubs moved to the new competition. Peterborough United were elected to the Football League (the last Midland League club to achieve this feat), and the Midland League closed down through lack of numbers.

Cadbury Athletic Football Club is an amateur football club based in Birmingham, England.Affiliated with the Cadbury confectionery company and playing in the company colours of purple and white, they are currently members of the Midland League Division Two and play at the Cadbury Recreation Ground in Bournville.
