The Harbor Freight Central Machinery sawmill in it's 2012 rendition is exactly the same as the Woodland Mills sawmill, without handle grips and a few other niceties. I ordered mine in early July 2012 and received it mid July 2012. I paid about $2200 including shipping.
And their "yellow line" sold thru Harbor Freight, is even slightly less metal (the cage on the minimill is 2 post, on the Oscar 18 it's f our post) and a shorter warranty, for a slight reduction in price. The real bargain comes in IF you can find a 20% HF discount coupon from the Harborfreight.com site.
I don't know anything about the Mechmaxx but if you are in the market for a sawmill, please steer clear of Norwood Sawmills. We ordered one three years ago and wholeheartedly regret it. Missing parts, wrong engine sent is just part of the nightmare.
On another forum, there's a thread about Harbor Freight's sawmill that's like 100 pages long. Lot a good info on how to upgrade the deficiencies of the cheap mill. If you start having trouble with yours, I could dig it up and PM you with the link.

I have since sold it and purchased a Hudson Farmboss. Not Crazy about the Hudson design and some features but its a much larger mill and portable. The HF mill was holding up fine and was a very basic design, not much to go wrong and very easy to maintain. Had way more issues getting our Hudson to cut worth a **** comparatively.
At the beginning of the year I purchased a Hud-son Homesteader HFE-21 sawmill and thought some might be interested in a review. I'll start by saying it is a small mill, about as small as you can get, but still a big step up from the 24" Alaksan/MS441 combo I have been using.
