Sabretooth [a] is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.Created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, he first appeared in Iron Fist #14 (August 1977) and was initially depicted as a serial killer known as "the Slasher", before being developed into a villain associated with the X-Men during the "Mutant Massacre" crossover in 1986.
During the mission, he kills a mutant who was protecting a group of mutant children. Realizing his mistake, he calls off the mission and leads the Avengers to defend Fortress X. He is killed battling the Hulk, but his words and actions inspire the mutant forces to band together. Legacy absorbs his memories to honor his sacrifice. [15]

Cyclops unleashes a powerful optic blast that seemingly kills Sinister, leaving only bones. This is later revealed to be a ruse performed by Mr. Sinister, who decided it was best to retreat. After their clash, Sabretooth follows Logan home to the X-Mansion. He destroys Cerebro, but is kept from hurting the other Morlocks when Psylocke engages Sabretooth in battle. Death of X was a limited series event that was first announced by Marvel in early spring 2016. [1] To help build anticipation for the limited series, in May 2016 Marvel announced the release of variant covers for other titles that would relate to the upcoming limited series depicting various X-Men facing potentially fatal situations.
