Art of Fighting (Korean: 싸움의 기술; RR: Ssaum-ui gisul) is a 2006 South Korean action comedy drama film co-written and directed by Shin Han-sol. The film was released to Korean theaters on January 5, 2006, and had 1,313,727 tickets nationwide.
Some of the Art of Fighting cast have continued appearing in other SNK fighting games since the last game in the Art of Fighting series was released. Art of Fighting 2 (Japanese: 龍虎の拳, Hepburn: Ryūko no Ken 2) is fighting game developed and released by SNK first released in arcades on 3 February 1994. It is a direct sequel to Art of Fighting involving both new and returning characters.
Like the first Art of Fighting and the sequel Art of Fighting 2, the third installment was produced by Hiroshi Matsumoto or Takashi Nishiyama. It is often noted as having some of the best sprite-work SNK has produced, as the company worked for the first time in motion capture to give the game better visuals in a 3D-like style visual.
