Middle and High School Immunization Clinics. All FCPS middle and high schools will host a free immunization clinic this fall in collaboration with the Fairfax County Health Department. Students must participate at the school where they are enrolled. Clinics will be held during school hours.
We will engage students in rigorous learning and challenge them to exceed their expectations. We will collaborate and utilize best practices across grade levels and departments to provide equitable access and promote student success.

The history of Fairfax High School begins in 1927 when the first high school courses in the town of Fairfax were held in the old Fairfax Elementary School on Main Street. The high school program there ended in 1932, and for 3 ½ years students enrolled in the old high school building at Oakton.
The online attendance reporting form will no longer be used. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, families can report all-day absences using ParentVUE. More information will be posted before the start of the school year. Meanwhile, the phone number to report absences remains in use.
