Not a bad price, get the pellets on 12 month financing. Local delivery is $62.00, but being that I live in the country, I am charged $72.00.

Prices had been climbing and we were worried about being able to find affordable pellets. WE settled on 4 tons of Maine Woods for $229/ton. They were ashy but OK. This year we have a new pellet plant, Vermont Wood Pellets, that has opened and their pick up prices have stayed right around $220-$240/ton. Right now they are $236.50/ton.

    370. NW. Dec 19, 2011. #4. Holy Crap! We get the same thing here for $209.00 a ton, last year they were $187.00 per ton. Give a few bags a try and let us know what you think. We want to know what you East Coasties think of our Doug Fir pellets. $335.00, I would say no, they are not worth it.

  11. Ash comparison of Stove Chow, Green Supreme, TSC white/blue bag

    www.hearth.com/talk/threads/ash-comparison-of-stove-chow...

Massachusetts. Oct 19, 2018. #1. From HD: Green Supreme (mfg by Lignetics off of barcode): 71g per bag. Stove Chow: 105g per bag. From TSC: White bag with blue print: 94g per bag. I would have had HD deliver the Green Supremes but now they only have the high ash Stove Chows so I am leaning towards getting the TSC pellets manually (truck/trailer).
