In 1922, Lewis purchased the Memphis Red Sox, a baseball team in the Negro leagues. He also financed the construction of Martin Stadium (sometimes called "Lewis Park") in Memphis. It is located at 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. Different species of trees of different ages, as well as bushes, can be found throughout the cemetery, enhancing the atmosphere of a park-like setting. The cemetery is noted for its Crystal Shrine Grotto, a hand-built cave depicting Biblical scenes built by artist Dionicio Rodriguez.
Located at the center of the district is the separately listed Clinton County Courthouse. Other notable buildings include the Harker Building (1890), Frankfort Municipal Building (1916), Coca-Cola building (mid-1920s), Ross Building (1897), Keys Building (1899), and K. F. & W Traction Station (early 1920s).

Center Township is one of fourteen townships in Clinton County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 17,601 (up from 17,245 at 2010 [4]) and it contained 6,650 housing units. It contains the city of Frankfort, the county seat.
