Vettaiyan is the soundtrack album to the 2024 Indian Tamil-language film of the same name directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah's Lyca Productions starring Rajinikanth in the titular lead role.
Vettaiyan was theatrically released on 10 October 2024, coinciding with Vijayadashami. [ 73 ] [ 74 ] In the United Kingdom, the film was released on the same day; however, in a version which was classified 15 by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) for strong violence, bloody images and sexual violence, following 2 minutes of cuts.

The soundtrack album features eight tracks, with lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj, Gana Balachandar, Arivu, Vignesh Shivan and Vishnu Edavan. Composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Santhosh Narayanan, [3] also sung one song for this film, while the latter collaborates with Anirudh for the second time after Remo (2016), [4] and the former's first collaboration with the composer. The album featured four songs, with all of them being previously released as singles. It was planned to be released with the film's audio launch event, before its cancelation. The album was released via T-Series on 3 September 2024, two days before the film's release.
