White spots on liver While my husband was having his gallbladder removed, it was noted that he had lots of white spots on his liver (covers top and bottom). The doctor seems to have eliminated all possible reasons for this.
Boo, Don't worry unless and until you have reason to. "Spots" on the liver are most likely benign hemangiomas that require no further concer. "Fat infiltration" seems to be the newest buzzword that almost everyone hears...maybe a justification for giving everyone an echogram with each case of indigestion.
Hello everyone. Not sure what is going on with me? I have been having upper right quadrant pain on my right side under rib cage. I had my gallbladder removed in 2008. My Dr sent me for a CT scan and the results came back that I have several small spots on my liver, they are very small. All bloodwork and liver functions are normal.
There are a lot of medications that effect the liver. I was told it could be fatty liver, hemangioma, fnh, or an adenoma. Since an adenoma can rupture or turn to cancer I had liver resection on June 26, 2008. I was told that liver cancer is very rare and more times you have cancer somewhere else and it spreads to the liver.

A few days later the radiologist calls back informing me that they found a white mass near the baby's heart.
Hi, My 29 year old nephew was having extreme pain in his lower back and groin. The hospital finally admitted him and found spots on his liver and pancreas and a large mass in his pelvic region. They want to do a biopsy but can't now because he has a high fever (103) and they can't seem to figure out why or
The little red dots are "cherry angiomas" and are not a sign of anything bad that I know of. Spider angiomas are little red cherry's with several/many small veins radiating out from them. If you press on the center cherry the veins around it disappear until you release it. Google image will show you the difference.
There were more spots now. The origional ones had been there since birth, but now all of a sudden there were these other spots. They kind of looked like the birth marks, except they were a little more brown or tan colored. The new spots, like the birthmarks, are light colored. However, the birthmarks are mostly pinkish looking.
