Skikda (Arabic: سكيكدة; formerly Philippeville [1] from 1838 to 1962 and Rusicade [1] in ancient times) is a city in northeastern Algeria and a port on the Mediterranean. It is the capital of Skikda Province and Skikda District .
Skikda Airport was an airport in Algeria (IATA: SKI, ICAO: DABP), located approximately 5 km east of Skikda; about 60 km north-northeast of Constantine. The 1,478 metres (4,849 ft) asphalt runway was closed sometime prior to 2004. The area is overbuilt and used as a storage for construction materials.
The airport is named after Houari Boumediene (1932–1978), a former president of Algeria. Dar El Beïda , the area where the airport is located, was known as Maison Blanche ('White House'), and the airport is called Maison Blanche Airport in much of the literature about the Algerian War of Independence .

Ain Beida Airport (French: Aéroport de Ouargla / Ain Beida [1]) (IATA: OGX, ICAO: DAUU), also known as Ouargla Airport, [3] is an airport serving Ouargla, a city in the Ouargla Province of eastern Algeria. It is located 4.3 nautical miles (8 km) southeast of the city. [1] The airport is in the Sahara Desert, about 540 km southeast of Algiers.
The airport of Setif was a military airport from independence until 1993, when work began on the construction of the terminal building, and the airport was given a national vocation. [ 6 ] Between 2005 and 2007 the terminal was expanded from 2,900 m2 to 6,590 m2, allowing the terminal to increase its capacity to 250,000 passengers/year.
