Northland Christian School (NCS) was established in the spring of 1974. Seeking to create a school in their community that combined excellence in education with a commitment to teaching Biblical principles, a group of dedicated families from Bammel Church of Christ gathered $1,000 of seed money, sought teachers who shared their vision, and found a physical location for the school.
To gain strength from a stronger church base, Northland relocated to a temporary facility in Wausau in 1987. A building owned by St. Mary Catholic Church of Wausau was its home for many years to come. On August 22, 1999 Northland dedicated its first permanent facility in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin. [1]

In addition to schools, the CLASP system was also used in the 1960s for the buildings of the University of York, designed by architect Andrew Derbyshire between 1961 and 1963. [2] An unusual, perhaps unique use of the system is the Catholic church of St Michael and All Angels in Wombwell , South Yorkshire.
Northlands Girls High School 'NGHS' is an all-girls school situated in the suburb of Durban North, South Africa. It has a strong relationship with its brother school, Northwood School for boys. NGHS, the first secondary school to be built in Durban North.
