The International Ice Hockey Federation was founded on 15 May 1908 at 34 Rue de Provence in Paris, France, as Ligue Internationale de Hockey sur Glace (LIHG). [6] The 1920 Olympics were the first to integrate hockey into their program. The Poland men's national ice hockey team debuted at the 1928 Winter Olympics.
