Toyohashi (豊橋市, Toyohashi-shi) is a city in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 December 2019 [update] , the city had an estimated population of 377,453 in 160,516 households [ 1 ] and a population density of 1,400 persons per km 2 .
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was established on 23 March 1984, [1] following the enactment of the metropolitan municipality act on 8 March 1984. [2] Initially, the municipality covered only the urban centers of Istanbul, which accounted for 35% of the Istanbul Province.
On October 1, 1956, the Toyohashi Railway acquired the local Taguchi Railway Company, which continued to operate as the Toyohashi Railway Taguchi Line until September 1, 1968. In October, 1988 the company opened a hotel at Toyohashi Station. From February 2011, the Manaca Smart Card system was implemented on the Toyohashi Railway network.
