Stillwell is an unincorporated community in St. Albans Township, Hancock County, Illinois, United States. It is located about 5 minutes south of West Point, but in terms of postal delivery is usually considered part of West Point. The town currently has approximately 40 residents.
Stilwell was born Nov. 10, 1991, in Kailua, Hawaii. After the family moved to Charlotte, she attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a chemistry degree in 2014.

The Eldorado Journal began as a weekly publication in 1911, with a publisher named Col.Lindolph Oscar "L.O." Trigg. According to Trigg's granddaughter, he founded the newspaper on a gamble, thinking the county seat would be located in Eldorado. [3] The name was revised in 1921 to Eldorado Daily Journal, [4] and publication moved to weekly. [5]
