The Sadr Region (also known as IC 1318 or the Gamma Cygni Nebula) is the diffuse emission nebula surrounding Sadr at the center of Cygnus's cross. The Sadr Region is one of the surrounding nebulous regions; others include the Butterfly Nebula and the Crescent Nebula. It contains many dark nebulae in addition to the emission diffuse nebulae.
Gamma Cygni (γ Cygni, abbreviated Gamma Cyg, γ Cyg), officially named Sadr / ˈ s æ d ər /, [11] [12] is a star in the northern constellation of Cygnus, forming the intersection of an asterism of five stars called the Northern Cross.
In the CIE 1931 model, Y is the luminance, Z is quasi-equal to blue (of CIE RGB), and X is a mix of the three CIE RGB curves chosen to be nonnegative (see § Definition of the CIE XYZ color space). Setting Y as luminance has the useful result that for any given Y value, the XZ plane will contain all possible chromaticities at that luminance.
HD 185351 is a star in the constellation of Cygnus, the swan. With an apparent visual magnitude of 5.17, [1] it is faintly visible to the naked eye on a dark night. Based on parallax measurements, HD 185351 is located at a distance of 134 light years from the Sun. [2]
NGC 6910 is located half a degree east-north east of Gamma Cygni, also known as Sadr. It may be physically related with the nebula IC 1318 (also known as the Gamma Cygni Nebula) as it lies at a similar distance, behind the galactic Great Rift. Cygnus OB9 is located within the Orion Arm of the Milky Way. Cygnus OB9's dimensions in the sky are 2. ...
IRAS 19475+3119 is a protoplanetary nebula in the constellation of Cygnus, 15,000 light-years away. The central star, V2513 Cygni, is an F-type post-AGB star. The brightest portion of the nebula shows a quadrupolar structure, with elongated bipolar lobes, all surrounded by a faint halo.
In GIMP 2.8, the Convert Image to Indexed Colors Option (Image→Mode→Indexed..) allows generation of an optimum palette with a choice in the number of colors from 2 to 256, the option of using a web-optimized palette, using a black and white palette (1 bit) or using a custom palette. It allows unused colors to be removed from the palette and ...
HR 7484 (V1143 Cyg) is a binary star system in the northern constellation of Cygnus. It is dimly visible to the naked eye under good viewing conditions, having an apparent visual magnitude of 5.89. [3]
