Benton County was created on December 23, 1847, by an act of the Provisional Government of Oregon. Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed teaching hospital located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1913, it is the only hospital in the city. The hospital operates a level II trauma center, and serves the Linn, Benton, and Lincoln County area. It is one of only 6 level II trauma centers in the State of Oregon. [1]
