Darin McKay LaHood (/ l ə ˈ h ʊ d / lə-HOOD; born July 5, 1968) [1] is an American attorney and politician who has served as a U.S. representative from Illinois since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, LaHood has represented the 16th district since 2023, and previously represented the 18th district from 2015 to 2023.
