The Tax Collection Division processes, collects, and records all tax, water and sewer payments for the City. Tax Collection is located on the first floor of City Hall in Room 104.

The Office of the Mayor provides centralized direction and leadership for the effective administration and operations of all municipal services for the City of East Providence as directed by the City Council and serves as the focal point for the management of the city staff departments.
East Providence City Council. The City Council serves as the legislative branch and governing body of the City, except as otherwise provided in the Charter, and enacts ordinances subject to veto of the Mayor. It passes resolutions, orders elections, levies taxes and authorizes public improvements.
