The ROP is a state-funded career technical education program financed by average daily attendance (ADA). High School students generate 97% of Coastline ROP’s ADA; adults generate 3%. More than one-third of Coastline ROP’s courses meet the UC/CSU admission requirements.

California’s 49 ROCPs provide high school and adult students with valuable career technical education so students can (1) enter the workforce with skills and competencies to be successful in life, (2) pursue advanced training in higher educational institutions, and/or (3) upgrade existing skills and knowledge.
