A rhyme scheme is the pattern of rhymes at the end of each line of a poem or song. It is usually referred to by using letters to indicate which lines rhyme; lines designated with the same letter all rhyme with each other. An example of the ABAB rhyming scheme, from "To Anthea, who may Command him Anything", by Robert Herrick:
A life on the ocean wave, A home on the rolling deep, Where the scattered waters rave, and the winds their revels keep, The winds, the winds, the winds their revels keep, (the winds, the winds, the winds their revels keep). Once more on the deck I stand, Of my own swift gliding craft, Set sail! and farewell to the land, The gale follows fair abaft!
The song is also backed with deep rhymes like 'My life is a blunt to the head, a prayer for the dead / Run around hustlin', scared of the feds / They said death is eternal sleep, but the only thing is you ain't really sure if you prepared for the bed', which is infinitely more than could be expected out of Styles even a year ago."
