Orchard Beach State Park is a public recreation area covering 201 acres (81 ha) on the shore of Lake Michigan in Manistee Township, Manistee County, Michigan. Situated on a bluff three miles north of the city of Manistee , the state park offers camping, hiking trails, and scenic views over Lake Michigan.
Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park is a 92-mile (148 km) long linear state park in the U.S. state of Michigan. The trail extends from northern Grand Rapids to Cadillac , and it lies on the path graded for the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad (later absorbed by the Pennsylvania Railroad ).
In 2003 and 2004 the Parks Division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources did renovations on the campground, closing the park for much of that period.
