K. A. Sengottaiyan (born 9 January 1948) is an Indian politician. He is the former Minister for School Education in the Government of Tamil Nadu.He also served as the party presidium chairman and headquarters secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
He is the State's incumbent Minister of Higher Education since September 2024. He has been representing the Thiruvidaimarudur constituency in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly since May 2011 . [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] He also served as the Chief Government Whip in the Assembly from May 2021 till his elevation as Minister.
