Oona O'Neill, Lady Chaplin (14 May 1925 – 27 September 1991) was a Bermudian-born actress, the daughter of Irish-American playwright Eugene O'Neill and English-born writer Agnes Boulton, and the fourth and last wife of actor and filmmaker Charlie Chaplin.
O'Neill Jr.'s parents divorced in 1912, when he was a toddler. O'Neill once said he did not even meet his father until age 12. [2] He entered Yale in 1928; in his freshman year a poem he had written was widely reprinted. [2] He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale in 1932, where he was a member of Skull and Bones secret student society. [1]
