Business Today is a television business news programme produced by BBC News and shown on BBC News Channel and BBC One on weekdays. Each edition lasts 25 minutes. The 05:30 edition is also seen on BBC One and the 11:30 edition also airs on BBC Two during their simulcasts of BBC News Channel .

Initially this was BBC Radio 2 until the early 1990s when BBC World Service was the overnight filler and by the end of the 1990s this had become BBC Radio 5 Live. Only BBC Radio London broadcasts a 24-hour service. As with BBC Local Radio, the BBC's national radio stations also carried a UK-wide station during downtime.
