The personnel can have an effect on the style of play but if you told me last year that the Knicks' roster with a ton of young players and small guards would still be playing at the slowest pace in the league with Brunson leading the league in time of possession from the beginning of the year I would have been shocked.

They looked like contenders until the injuries ate them up last season, so being marginally better means just like last year, the Knicks ability to contend comes down to health. ...not sure how much I'd be willing to bet on Mitch or OG's ability to stay healthy.
