Monroe Township, founded June 9, 1825, is one of the fourteen townships of Clermont County, Ohio, United States. The population was 7,531 at the 2020 census . [ 3 ] The birthplace of Ulysses S. Grant is located in Point Pleasant , an unincorporated community in the southern part of the township.
The first settlement at Point Isabel was made around 1838. [2] A post office called Point Isabel was established in 1847, and remained in operation until 1907.
