Deer Hunter is a series of hunting simulation video games. Originally available for Windows platform published by WizardWorks, it has since been published on MacOS, Game Boy Color, PlayStation 2, and mobile phones. Redneck Deer Huntin' (released in Europe as Deer Stalker) is a hunting simulation video game developed by Xatrix Entertainment and published by Interplay Entertainment for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows in 1998. It is a spinoff of the 1997 first-person shooter Redneck Rampage. It was later re-released for Steam (both Windows and macOS) in 2017.

The impetus for the game was a Wal-Mart executive commenting to a WizardWorks sales representative that if he had a game about deer hunting, he could sell thousands of copies. The game also includes many different animals including a boss, the Yeti. Unlike the first game , this one has only the story mode. During the plot, the player is supposed to shoot all 80 stumps in order to unlock a "surprise": cheat codes for unlimited ammunition and infinite energy.
The Windows version of the game operates much differently, and allows the player to select locations and unlock them upon their completion. It operates exactly like its predecessor, Cabela's Big Game Hunter: 2004 Season. The game includes 10 maps located across North America. The maps are much more diverse and unique than those of the 2004 Season.
