Veluwezoom National Park is a national park in the Netherlands located in the province of Gelderland.It is the oldest national park in the Netherlands. [2] It has a surface area of about 50 square kilometers (some 20 square miles) at the southeastern edge of the Veluwe, a complex of terminal push moraines from the Saalian glaciation.

Voorthuizen is a tourist village, located on the edge of the Veluwe. East of the village is a high concentration of campsites. To the southeast, on the A1, lies the Zeumeren recreation area, which attracts around 400,000 visitors per year. The tourist season has been opened since 2014 with a one-day event, "Voorthuizen Straalt!". [3]

The Veluwemeer (Dutch) or Lake Veluwe is a bordering lake in the Netherlands, between the provinces of Flevoland on the west side and Gelderland on the east side. It is a narrow lake that stretches from south-west to north-east. South of Harderwijk the lake becomes het Wolderwijd and North of Elburg het Drontermeer.
