Kim Hyun-joong (Korean: 김현중; Hanja: 金賢重; born June 6, 1986) is a South Korean actor, singer and songwriter. [1] He is a member of the boy band SS501 and played roles in the Korean dramas Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss.
On June 7, 2011, Kim released his solo debut mini album, Break Down, [8] exceeding 70,000 pre-ordered copies in just 10 days. [9] It peaked at number one on Gaon Weekly Album Chart [ 10 ] and was the best-selling album for June on Gaon Monthly Album Chart with 100,433 copies sold.

Kim Hyun-joong of SS501 has since 2010 been the official model for the brand, together with Seohyun of Girls’ Generation. Kim is the official international ambassador of the brand while Seohyun is the nationwide ambassador. In 2013, Suzy of Miss A joined as the new official international ambassador of the brand alongside Seohyun.
