    Due the reusable nature KDE technologies, the difference is largely cosmetic now. If you browse the file-system in Konqueror you will be using the Dolphin KPart. The difference is then only in the default menus, toolbar and application name. So Dolphin has more focused toolbars, and cleaner menus.
