Weather Center Live (originally titled Weather Center) is an American weather news television program that aired on The Weather Channel from 2009 until 2021. Airing in various timeslots throughout the daytime (and sometimes nighttime) hours and serving as The Weather Channel's de facto flagship forecast program, it features weather forecasts, analysis and weather-related feature segments.
Initially, Weather Center was the lone program for The Weather Channel. By 2000, the show had started being significantly pared down as The Weather Channel shifted to a multi-program format, introducing programs such as Your Weather Today , and the gradual implementation of pre-recorded documentary series, such as Storm Stories .
Vivian Louise Brown is an American television meteorologist who worked for The Weather Channel. [3] She most recently co-hosted Weather Center Live from noon to 3pm on weekdays. Brown was with The Weather Channel from 1986 to 2015. [4]
She participated in The Weather Channel on-camera meteorologist apprentice program, earning time in front of the camera every weekend. [1] From 2013 to 2016, Carfagno and Alex Wallace anchored Weather Center Live on Thursday-Friday early mornings and weekend mornings.

The Weather Channel was founded on July 18, 1980, [9] by television meteorologist John Coleman (who had served as a chief meteorologist at ABC owned-and-operated station WLS-TV in Chicago and as a forecaster for Good Morning America) and Frank Batten, then-president of the channel's original owner Landmark Communications (now Landmark Media Enterprises).
