The entrance gate of the EARIST General Mariano Alvarez Campus in. EARIST Cavite Campus, formerly called EARIST-GASAT (General Alvarez School of Arts and Trades), is a satellite campus. It operates with the funding support from the budgetary allotment of its mother institution, EARIST Manila.
It is bounded on the north, east and south by the City of Biñan, Municipality of General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) on the north-west and Silang on the south-west. The geographic coordinates of Carmona are about 14.32° latitude and 121.06° longitude.
The district consists of the city of Carmona and the adjacent eastern Cavite municipalities of Silang and General Mariano Alvarez, collectively known as Carsigma. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Roy M. Loyola of the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC). [4]

The line was built to serve the Carmona Resettlement Project, which was a part of Carmona, Cavite until the creation of General Mariano Alvarez in 1981. It was located just before San Jose Bridge beside the San Isidro River. [1]
