Han Solo (/ ˈ h ɑː n ˈ s oʊ l oʊ /) [2] is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He was introduced in the 1977 film Star Wars, [u] and later appeared in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), The Force Awakens (2015), and The Rise of Skywalker (2019), portrayed by Harrison Ford in all five of these films.
