Cheshire College – South & West is a post-16 further education and vocational college in Cheshire, England, formed in 2017 by the merger of West Cheshire College and South Cheshire College. Its main campus is in Crewe (60%), with other sites in Ellesmere Port (28%) and Chester (12%). The principal is Jasbir Dhesi.
It had over 20,000 students at its two main campuses in Ellesmere Port and Chester as well as in workplaces and community venues. In March 2017 it was merged with South Cheshire College, based in Crewe, to form Cheshire College – South & West, which as of 2020 retains the Ellesmere Port and Chester campuses.
Many HNCs cover the same areas as an HND and it is often possible to complete an HND with one year full-time study after successfully completing the HNC. [ 3 ] In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, an HNC (previously a level 5 qualification) is now Level 4 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework .

Mid Cheshire College was a further education college based in Hartford and Winsford, Cheshire. The college merged with Warrington Collegiate in 2017 to form Warrington and Vale Royal College . [ 1 ] It had approximately 9,000 students at the time of the merger.
