Summer Sonic Festival was founded in 2000 in Japan, by Naoki Shimizu, CEO of Tokyo promotions company Creativeman Productions Ltd. [3] Addressing the ever-growing demand for western music, the festival drew established and emerging musical acts of most genres to become, by 2010, Japan's biggest music event.
The duo is continuing touring concerts and attending music festivals in various countries, such as 2023–2024 Asia Tour, Pop Out Zepp Tour, and Chō-genjitsu Dome Live, etc., the latter received 170,000 audiences with four dates; as well as attending music festivals, including Clockenflap, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Summer Sonic Festival, etc.
Internationally, they performed at Lollapalooza in the US in July and Summer Sonic Festival in Japan in August 2023. Their second fan meeting, titled Bunnies Camp 2024, was held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The event lasted two days in June 2024 and attracted 91,200 people in attendance. [1]

The set list consisted of the group's previous releases being performed in Japanese as well as an encore of the Korean version of Boombayah. Seventeen 1st Asia Pacific Tour 2016 Shining Diamonds was Seventeen's first tour of Asia and Oceania, as organised by Pledis Entertainment and Type Communication Group. The tour was held from July 30 to September 11, 2016, in Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Hong Kong and Taipei.
