Nevertheless, many subjects studied at an academically advanced level remain of interest to a wider audience, such as the Sun and Alzheimer's disease .
Articles start with a lead section (WP:CREATELEAD) summarising the most important points of the topic.The lead section is the first part of the article; it comes above the first header, and may contain a lead image which is representative of the topic, and/or an infobox that provides a few key facts, often statistical, such as dates and measurements.
Find a real topic (for example, using the information in the section about ideas for new articles, concerning articles that are needed or requested). Write a pretend article, and don't do the very last few steps, which involve moving the article into mainspace , where real Wikipedia articles exist.
The red links one would thus create for any page that is not an encyclopedia article must start with the namespace prefix. For example, to create a proposed article in the Draft namespace, it would be created via a red link to [[Draft:Proposed Title]].
Even for articles about the most technically demanding subjects, these readers include students and curious laypeople in addition to experts. While upholding the goals of accuracy and full coverage of the most important aspects of a topic, every effort should be made to also make articles accessible and pleasant to read for less-prepared readers.
